Welcome to Music Center of Hawaii, Inc. (“MCH”), a full-line band and orchestra retail and repair shop. We are located off Ward Avenue, at the corner of Kamani Street and Auahi Street, in the proximity of the Bank of Hawaii, Ward Plaza, building.
Founded in 1990, MCH offers Hawaii’s largest selection of name-brand wind instruments and accessories from well-established companies such as Yamaha, Buffet-Crampon, Jupiter, Conn-Selmer, Getzen, Powell Flutes, Burkart, Pearl Flutes & Percussion, Fox-Renard, Schilke, Rheuben Allen, and Kenny G Saxophones.
Our bowed instrument inventory features products from master makers and their workshops who have won medals and certificates in prestigious U.S. and international violinmaking competitions.
We have a full-time repair staff who service what we sell. Our retail and repair staff is comprised of local musicians, educators and students with years of experience, giving us a wealth of specialized knowledge, not only with respect to the products we sell, but pedagogy as well. For the convenience of our student and professional customers, we stock Hawaii’s largest collection of band and orchestral instrumental sheet music and method books.
We know that you have many choices and we thank you for allowing MCH the chance to serve you.
On Wednesday, December 21st, Eric Miyashiro will be giving a free clinic at the Pearl City Cultural Center at 5pm. This is the day before his concert at the same location which will be at 7pm. Tickets are currently still availble at MCH for $33. They will be $35 at the door.
For those of you attending the Rainbow Invitational Marching Festival, be sure to check out our full-page ad in the evenings program for some good savings on accessories and sheet music.
